Three generations...
Just a few moments before Ramie walked down the aisle. She took a moment to sit in the room she grew up in.

What was your first dance song?

What was your mother/son song?
"The Perfect Fan by the Backstreet Boys"
How did you feel when you saw each other for the first time on the wedding day?
"I took a sneak peak at him before the ceremony started. So I saw him before he saw me. He was so handsome. Someone had told me before the wedding that he was nervous and worried about speaking in front of everyone. When I saw him, I could tell by his stance that he was really nervous. I said a quick prayer for him that he would be ok, that he would no longer be nervous, and that he would say everything perfectly. After the ceremony he told me that he was extremely nervous, but when he saw me he knew at that moment he was ready to get married!"
What was the most memorable moment of the day?
"Walking down the aisle. My daddy, mama, and I built the doors, the cross, the benches and the communion table that were at the ceremony. When the doors opened, it was the first time that I had seen everything together. It was beautiful. I cried the entire time down the aisle. I will forever cherish the time, memories made, and hard work they spent helping make our wedding day personal and incredible."
If you could do it all over again, would you change anything?
"We live in the south where there are many gnats. During the ceremony he kept blowing away gnats with his mouth. He also kept asking me, "Why didn't you get me any bug spray?" and "Do you have bug spray on?.. because they are not around you". If you would have asked me in that moment, I would have said BUG SPRAY. But now looking back, it was soo funny and I am glad he didn't have bug spray!"
Do you have any advice to other brides & grooms?
"You can plan and plan and plan, but on that day nothing will go PERFECT to plan. Instead of getting upset, just go with it. I found that the things that went unplanned that day were the most memorable. It made our day imperfectly perfect! At the end of the day, you are married!"
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
"St Lucia"
